The best thing about Anna Kournikova, besides the fact that she is beautiful, is that she is the most mediocre tennis player of recent memory. If it weren’t for her devastating good looks there’s a good chance she never would have been recognized for her tennis skills in the first place (which were limited to say the least). The common refrain about Anna has been that “she looks great but never wins.” Nothing could be more true. Anna caused a huge international stir because she looked so damn good losing tennis matches. Let’s be honest, what guy’s blood doesn’t start to pump when he’s watching and listening to a woman’s tennis match? Everyone knows who Anna Kournikova is, but not because she was a great tennis player. She is famous because she was a really really really hot mediocre athlete.
